Whatever your goal, you can get there as long as you are willing to be honest about the preparations and the work involved.
There are no back doors, no free rides.........

CAUGHT IN BETWEEN!!!
Days are surely rushing and soon' much sooner than we expect it,all patriots will have to make a decision, one that will either make us as a nation or even break us..............
Crowds of people gather often so as to be sensitized or is it educated.. on the decision to make..Will it be green or red now that mellon is disqualified? sometimes i can't help but wonder if it is truly different people who gather or is it just a matter of changing the cap and t-shirt every time there is a gathering ?
Things are heating up as every one gears up for that day.....the proposed constitution has been widely applauded and on the same breath been widely criticized by many and for sure in all this there are those caught in between.......probably stuck in trying to understand whether to defend the life of the unborn(this being the major bone of contention) as the Nay Sayers would have it or whether to give it a Yeah and amend all other defects that have been detected way later.
Each individual has his / her own say.........a fact that evidently seems not to have been understood by intolerant and i would add obnoxious people who saw it best to take the lives of others due to difference in opinion..............
Whatever the case we must all remember that we have come a long way as a nation to want to cause catastrophe amongst ourselves.
We must be tolerant of others,allow each and everyone to participate to the fullness of his/ her capacity and remember it is not a nation of particular individuals but for all who are Kenyans
And when the morning of that day finally dawns and there will be endless queues as kenyans excercise their rights, may all bear in mind that there will still be life after the referendum and Kenya will still reign on........ and peacefully for that matter.

LUKEWARMNESS, THE DEVIL IN DISGUISE......
We are all children of God and being his children we cannot be sad. Sadness is the end product of selfishness. If we truly want to live for God we will never lack cheerfulness even when we discover our errors and wretchedness.
Hardship is something to be expected. It is an integral part of an ordinary life. Our joy cannot be dependent on some future earthly paradise where there are no difficulties, contradictions or temptations. As a matter of fact we need hardships if we are to attain substantive victory. Without them our pursuit of virtue would be hollow.
Birds not only fly due to the action of their wings, but also due to the resistance in the atmosphere.
Our joy must have firm foundation.
you may ask is it really possible to always stay happy.......well once the firm desire for that is set then every thing else will fall into place..... but being lukewarm is not a choice.....you either choose to be happy or not....cold or hot....... INTERMEDIATE.....NAHHHHH!!! NOT A GOOD IDEA...THE WORD SHOULDN'T EVEN EXIST........
Wanting without really wanting.......this only shows cowardice ...
Why not make that firm decision once and for all?
At least i can say i tried it and i am slowly but surely getting there ..with God's help off course because alone it would probably be a hoax or worse yet a NIGHTMARE!

The word resilience teaches us not to give up after disappointment
The ability to bounce back after a plan or goal backfires is a strength we should all possess
Failing once does not mean failure forever.....
Always have the spirit to dust yourself up and try again, carefully this time
We cannot undertake a task believing we are going to fail
If you fail, summon the strength to accept that. Hold your head up and try again....till you succeed!!!

well i sat down ta pick the beauty of the day and i just remembered a quote that was shared by a friend.... well i couldn't help but smile at the thought of it for i know how far it has brought me in life...and it says..
To lead an orchestra you must let your back be seen by the people
Simply means that in life much will happen but in the face of it all
we must not let the negative comments or words that will be said hurt us.... instead,
let what people say be your reference point and not your resting point only then can you truly get by the daily challenges of life.....

when life goes hard i go harder
When i started this race i thought it would be easy
Never thought there were times when i would come to fall
But temptations may come my way ...and trials may come my way
But through it all they have come to make me stronger.....
And though this race seems hard i am running...
Though i might fall i'll rise up again...
no i wont stop running till i get there...
It is my hope that we all have the attitude to keep running
and when the world brings us lemons we might as well make lemonades out of them
And when the world pushes us to our knees .., then the better as we will be in the best position to pray.......:*)
